Winter is here.........

Winter has come and hit us with a bang, its defo time to wrap up!!Irelands weather can be unpredictable to say the least and makes everyday dressing seem like a task rather than a pleasure!!Layering is the answer, especially if you have a hectic schedule or like me, run after two very active boys!!sweating is not attractive especially when your makeup melts also,so how to balance out this dressing dilema!!

Firstly if you can invest in a GOOD coat, most cheap ones do not hold much heat although one coat is usually not enough for a person but there are some very versatile ones out there that will go with almost everything.A good coat will cut down on the amount of layering,so you are not weighed down with jumpers and jackets when you get indoors...............If how ever your budget doesn't allow for expensive coats more layering is the way to go especially if you do like to vary your style.

Glamorous and cool with fur and leather layering...how a great coat can make an outfit!!Get a statement winter coat to look stylish everyday

like a more casual look?invest in a pair of good boots that will go with everything,go for ones with studs or detailing for casual style with an edge

i love this thrown together look but its not just as simple as rolling out of bed and sticking on shoes,no matter what you are wearing to feel comfortable,if you dont you will look stupid

the important thing about this look is the proportion of the clothes, everything is slimline making this casual look neat and cool,a good look for those who prefer an easy goin look.

perfect colours for winter style

For the shorter fashionista, these trousers will add length while still looking casual, add some wedges for seriously easy dressing

prim and proper, brogues are a great shoe for winter to smarten up a jean combo..they elevate a casual look

for the seriously stylish and seriously cool but this look is seriously simple and easily done, make sure you are well groomed to pull this look off.

simple and stylish...no need for sloppy dressing when style is so simply achieved!!

how to wear a mini skirt and look classy...not trashy

bright jeans were a massive summer trend, team with darker hues to bring them into your winter wardrobe

or just add a fur collar to update your winter wardrobe...accessories,the simplest and cheapest way to follow the trends..ps fur will always be a winter staple so you cant go wrong:)

Leather..how more perfect could a fabric be for winter, especially in our rainy weather..fierce

Diet Coke Deign Competition... GLAMOROUS GRUNGE

I recently entered a design competition with Diet Coke and Belfast Fashion Week but unfortunately did not reach the final stages due to the technicality of my drawing.I however love my design inspired by the A /W 2012 trends glamour& grunge and hope to bring it to life myself.I think it is seriously sexy and edgy and cannot wait to get started on the project.WHAT DO YOU THINK?I would love to hear some feed back from fellow bloggers on this design and i look forward to posting a picture of the completed garment :)

H&M Trumph Again....

Once again h&m have made the ideal boot for me,with such simple changes they have changed their summer shoe boot wedge to this perfectly pointed one, to be bang on trend for A/W 2012!!Lets just say i know what i want, and the simplest of detail can put me off a product. Some boots were too chunky for my liking and too rounded at the toe, this boot however is sharp petite and just the perfect height wedge that tick all the right boxes. From buying the shoe boot i know these boots are going to be seriously comfy.A bargain at £29.99.....

SKIRTEN CALL......

SKIRTS have definatley made a comeback,a few years ago i wouldnt have dared to bare my pins..not that jeans are out but skirts are in, in, in!!With so many styles to choose from we can regain our feminism we sold out for those comfy jeans and transform our wardrobes..here is my pick of the bunch that will see you through to next season....

This RIVERISLAND skirt is the perfect way to introduce skirts into our everyday wardrobe. If your a fan of the sport trend buy this and team with wedge trainers  and a simple tee for limited effort and maximum style!!
This TOPSHOP skirt is a personal favouite and one i will defo be buying,i love the cross print as it ties in with the grunge trend...but not too much grunge. The colours are gorgeous and the material is extra slimming and comfy,BONUS!!

Leather has been a big trend this year, and nothing more practical for the rainy season, this ZARA one however tops the lot with a rubberised material!Leather,Pleats, and a mid length, giving you edgy, sexy and classy all in one!!

And if you wanted to jump straight into the grunge trend i suggest this check skirt, for me the perfect grunge skirt from NASTYGAL.com.Its a trend that is staying with us so a good investment if you like this style!
And finally a short one from ASOS.com.A skater style skirt in a folk print, perfect for autumn winter and one that will never go out of style.Purple is also a massive trend this season and this skirt has many rich tones which will go with anything:)

Acne Scars & Blemish Face Mask

This is a dress i designed for the end of my first year in fashion and clothing.I loved the cut out style dresses but wanted one that hung at the hip rather than higher up the torso for a cooler look!My theme was escapism which is why i chose the contrast of silk and pvc,the skirt is tie-dyed as an expression of escapism as is the dipped hem skirt which floated brilliantly behind the model as she walked the runway.I love the pvc panel down the front of the skirt and the contrast against the bright yellow.Even though i would make some changes i was very proud.:)

Light layers and dainty details

As a mum of two i find myself unpleastantly sweaty running after them, the last thing i need is a heavy coat to deal with the constant rain, the solution is to layer up light!!
light layers are ideal for summer, pair with dainty jewellery and kitten heels for a simple chic look, smarten up with a trench!!
